I’ll be the first to admit I’m a bit of a history geek. I love Europe because its so jam-packed with history from across the ages, loads of fascinating architecture and enough diversity to keep you entertained for weeks or months of travels.
So when I was last in Europe I made it a bit of a mission to hunt down Europe’s Best Castles to visit. Some even operate as hotels and all are open to the public for viewing. So here they are…

Chateau de Versailles, France

Edinburgh Castle, Scotland

Mont Saint-Michel, France

Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany

PeleČ™ Castle, Romania

Windsor Castle, England

Visiting the Australian Outback is on most traveller’s to do list, but no other place is that more true than the bucket list must; a visit to Uluru.
You can either fly straight in to Uluru airport (from cities like Melbourne and Sydney) or choose to first visit the outback town of Alice Springs, followed by a lengthy road trip between the two with a stop in at King’s Canyon on the way.

Watson’s Bay: An experience at the famous Doyles on the Beach
